Introducing AO's 2019-2020 Executive Board

Alpha Omega hosted our officer installation ceremony at the end of the semester, officially marking the start of our new executive board's term. They will be serving for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters.





 

President - Angel Purganan

Candidate class: Spring 2018


Major: Philosophy & Political Science


What she's most excited about for the next year: "It is an absolute honor to serve as president of Alpha Omega for this upcoming term! I'm excited to represent this amazing chapter and to serve the college bands to the best of my ability. I look forward to getting to know the new executive board and to work on joint projects with the other music organizations at FSU."

 

Vice President - Nicole Warren

Candidate Class: Spring 2017


Major: Instrumental Music Education


What she's most excited about for the next year: "I'm excited to see how our Membership Education Program will continue to evolve and I can't wait to see sisters get even more involved in the changes we are making."

 

Parliamentarian - Rebecca Giuli

Candidate Class: Spring 2017


Major: Computer Science


What she's most excited about for next year: "As a member of the executive board for the next year, I hope to progress the efficiency of our sisterhood by keeping our meetings productive and on track. I'm excited to see the future of Alpha Omega and grateful to have the opportunity to help lead so many talented members."

 

Membership Chair - Blair Bass

Candidate Class: Fall 2017


Major: Music Therapy


What she's most excited about for next year: "I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to serve our sisterhood this upcoming year. I'm excited to help develop our pillars and create a closer bond with our sisters and the College of Music that we serve."

 

Treasurer - Molly Whitright

Candidate Class: Spring 2018

Major: Accounting

What she's most excited about for next year: "I'm looking forward to using the skills I've learned in my accounting classes to bring more organization to our financials. I'm learning a lot about how to categorize our funds into a format everyone can understand. I plan to set up a new system of tracking and recording where our money goes."

 

Secretary - Cory Schuman

Candidate Class: Spring 2017

Major: Music - Liberal Arts

What she's most excited about for next year: "I'm looking forward to continuing to create lasting change in Alpha Omega through the implementation of new organizational programs in our circle. We've already made great strides in how we communicate within AO and with the general public, and I can't wait to see this sisterhood continue to improve in that aspect."

 

Our chapter is very excited to see what this new executive board accomplishes during their term. It is an honor to be selected to serve.
